Description
Quick Phaco Chopper & Koch Notched Nucleus Spatula, Double-Ended
The Quick Phaco Chopper and Koch Notched Nucleus Spatula is a double-ended ophthalmic instrument designed for lens nucleus fragmentation and manipulation during phacoemulsification cataract surgery. The sharply pointed Quick Chopper facilitates vertical chopping and controlled splitting of the crystalline lens nucleus, while the opposite Koch spatula features a smooth, rounded, duckbill-shaped working end with notches for stabilizing, rotating, and manipulating the nucleus and its fragments. Combining these complementary working ends allows surgeons to alternate between nucleus chopping and manipulation without changing instruments.
