Description
Corneal Stromal Track Spatula, 0.25 mm, 60° Angled
The Corneal Stromal Track Spatula is a delicate ophthalmic instrument designed to create a narrow passage within the deep corneal stroma for subsequent cannula insertion. This technique is particularly relevant to deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK), where an intrastromal track guides placement of an air-injection cannula for the big-bubble technique. The slender, angled working profile facilitates controlled stromal dissection and preparation of the cannula pathway during corneal surgery.
