The Akahoshi Prechopper Forceps for Hard Nucleus are designed for mechanical prechopping of hard and dense nuclei during cataract surgery. The cross-action mechanism and 45° angled design facilitate controlled cracking, dividing, and rotation of the nucleus, helping reduce the amount of phaco energy required during phacoemulsification.
